As I normally do when the monthly EPM updates are live in the test environment, I take a look at the changes that I highlighted in my post. In the February 2025 post, I commented that the user interface for dashboards, data, rules, and documents was being standardized. This did not seem to be a big change, just refinement around existing look and feel to make it standard. So, I went into a test pod to check it out and to my very pleasant surprise I saw an awesome and unexpected change. Calculation Manager is now available directly within Planning.
From the home page, I opened Rules.

At first all I saw was the changes noted in the monthly update, a standardized look that I confirmed by comparing to Data and Dashboards.

But I noticed something different on the Rules page, a button for System View.

Clicking System View opened Calculation Manager as a new tab within the Rules card.

Since this was not explicitly called out in the release documentation, it could be an error that it was enabled. Or it could be one of the best undocumented features in a while. Check it out while you can, because if it was a mistake, it’s not likely to stay available for long.
As always, happy EPM’ng!
