Just skimmed thru the Oracle EPM update notes for October 2023. Here’s the things that caught my interest.
ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES VIEWABLE IN MEMBER INFORMATION DIALOG IN SMART VIEW
Users will now have information on member formulas and UDAs, as well as several other properties.
UPDATED NARRATIVE REPORTING EXTENSION FOR SMART VIEW
Any time there is an update to a Smart View extension, you should install it. In addition to general improvements and defect fixes, this update adds some embedded content preview capabilities.
For Planning, a new video Introduction to Predicting with Events in Cloud EPM Planning is available now. I already watched it and it’s a good one. Auto predict is a great feature and I hope to see more opportunities to implement, it can really help with forecasting.
The update also has some changes to Workforce, I’ll need to review those more closely before making any comments.
Of course, there are many other updates in the October release, these are just the few that got my attention.
